Voice over- In are film we originally decided to have a voice over which was going to be played by an anonymous character which would give an independent view on what was going on in the movie/trailer.
Stereotype - This is the social classification of a group of people identified as common characteristics. For example, 'dumb' blond, this is used in mean girls as the girls are stated as 'Mean' girls and are 'dumb' blonde's.
In Our film we did use typical stereotype for the villain/bitchy girl such as short skirts, high heel shoes, little tops and the bitchy sidekick always standing next to her (slave like). But we also wanted to change one main stereotype round which was hair colour as in classic chick flicks the head girl/bitchy girls is normal blond and considered to be ‘dumb’ blonds. In contrast to this we swapped it and main her (Chelsea played by Suzy Chapman) brown haired.
Additionally, we also had a traditional unsociable geek in are trailer called Lily (Played by Beth Thompson). We once again kept some of the classic stereotypical geek characteristics such as glasses, non fashionable cloths, tied back hair and changed her hair to blond.

In conclusion, for are main 2 character we kept the normal characteristics of them but just swapped their hair colour. We felt that this was a good idea as we wanted to give our own twist to a classic chick flick movie.
